2024
Most of our meetings are held online via Zoom - the link to each meeting is available in our Slack discussion group (open to members only). On the first Tuesday of each month we try to hold a physical meeting during the day at a central venue in the city. Again, details of these meetings are available in our Slack discussion groups.

Our objective is to provide fun and enjoyment for all our members by creating a sense of achievement through skill development and challenge. We welcome all photographers who wish to improve their level of photography irrespective of ability.

August

• 27th Aug - New Member Open Evening - an open invitation for current members and a warm welcome to prospective new members to meet up to discuss the upcoming programme and the aims and ambitions of Aberdeen Camera Club.

September

• 3rd Sep -  Meeting at the Art Gallery - first Tuesday of the month at 10.15am to view exhibitions and offer advice and discussion on topics of interest.
• 10th Sep - Members Open Night - and introduction to exhibitions, salons, PAGB Awards scheme plus dates for these events. 
  Selection and proposals for "One for All" images.
• 17th Sep - Rushden National Exhibition -  an excerpt from an annual UK photographic exhibition followed by a discussion of the entries.
• 24th Sep - Presentation - Alistair Birnie - ‘A trip up the Norwegian Coast’.

October

• 1st Oct -  Meeting at the Art Gallery - first Tuesday of the month at 10.30am to view exhibitions and discuss activities.

• 8th Oct -  Presentation  - A photographic trip to Greenland - Professor Ian Booth.
• 15th Oct - Rushden Open Photographic Exhibition (or an alternative) - an excerpt from the this annual exhibition followed by a discussion of the entries.
• 22nd Oct - One for All - the results of a photo processing challenge - see how your photo is interpreted and processed by other members.
•  29th Oct - Technical Discussion - Post Processing Tips and Hints from Club members.

November

• 5th Nov -  Meeting at the Art Gallery - first Tuesday of the month at 10.30am to discuss topics of interest and view possible exhibitions.
• 12th Nov - Scottish Photographic Federation Annual Portfolios - the best of Scottish Club photography
  Closing date for 1st Monthly competition.
• 19th Nov - Presentation - Waterscapes - a talk by Jonathan Genevaux.
• 26th Nov - Member presentation - ‘On being a member of Aberdeen Camera Club’.
  Critique Session - an opportunity to provide constructive analysis and feedback on images being prepared for entry at the Club’s monthly competition.

December

January

  Contemporary Aberdeen - a review of the archives of the club. 
  Closing date for entries to the Contemporary Aberdeen Event.

March

  Critique session - an opportunity to provide constructive analysis and feedback on images entered in the Club’s 4th monthly competition.
• 18th Mar - Dingwall National Projected Image Exhibition.  A selection of the images accepted into the most recent exhibition run by Dingwall Camera Club followed by discussion of the accepted images.
• 25th Mar - Results from the 4th Monthly competition - judged by Robert Collie.
  Closing date for the Annual Portfolio competition.

April
