Welcome to the Aberdeen Camera Club, the oldest photographic club in Aberdeen, Scotland. If you want to join a photography Club that is informal and inspirational this may be the Club for you.

We have members ranging from beginners to experienced photographers. Members' interests cover studio portraiture, landscape, travel, wildlife, nature, digital and analogue printing and audio visual productions.

What do we do?

  • Provide regular and friendly critique on our photographs
  • Run themed challenges and competitions
  • Feedback from external judges
  • Offer guidance on camera skills and post-processing techniques
  • Presentations from external speakers on a wide range of photographic skills and techniques
  • Guidance on obtaining more formal qualifications and acknowledgements such as those from the Royal Photographic Society and the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain
  • We have a draft version of our events programme for August 2025 until May 2026 available.

Where do we meet?
Most of our meetings are held virtually as Zoom sessions. Our meetings start at 7:30pm and are usually held on Tuesdays. Once a month we meet in person during the day at a suitable venue in the city. Have a look at our What's On for information or contact us for more details.

How much does it cost?
Our membership fee is £15 per quarter year (contact us for details).
